Natalie Grant talks about 31Days of Freedom – THANK YOU everyone involved!:

Well, it’s the final day of our very first 31 Days Of Freedom campaign and I am sitting here just blown away by what has been accomplished. What a Twitter campaign! Thank you to all of our artist and author friends who helped us get the word out: Max Lucado, Mandisa, Nancy Alcorn, Matthew West, Mac Powell, Pete Wilson, Mark Hall, Bart Millard, Meredith Andrews, Brandon Heath, Michael Hyatt, 10th Avenue North, Mike’s Chair, Taylor York of Paramore, Philip Larue, Audrey Assad, Matt Maher, Bebo Norman, Fireflight, Christine Caine, Jack Mooring from Leeland, Bethany Dillon, Wynona, TobyMac, Sheila Walsh, Michael W Smith, Louie Giglio, Britt Nicole, Phil Wickham, Francesca Battistelli, Johnny Diaz and Hawk Nelson. WOW! And there were many more who tweeted and retweeted, and to all of you who did the same….thank you! These little tweets went a long way in educating and bringing awareness, not only to the problem of slavery that still exists around the world, but the reality that it may be happening right across your street.
So where do we go from here? The Home Foundation is focusing heavily on restoration. As a Christ-centered organization, we believe that’s what the church does best: restoring the broken. The United States has a serious problem with sex-trafficking. Atlanta, GA is on a world stage. Not only are they the worst city in America for sexual slavery, they are the 13th worst in the WORLD. This is happening all around us, yet  i can’t even count the number of faith-based shelters on 2 hands. We plan on changing that.
Through partnerships with major cities across the US and our Christian Trafficking Shelters Association, we plan on building shelters that will not only provide safety, but will treat the body, mind and soul. But we need funding. We are DESPERATE for funding. And every dollar helps. So do what you can. Some can give $10. Some can give $10,000. Just please give something. In doing so, you will be supporting something that has always been on God’s heart. Justice.
Psalm 140:12
I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy.
Proverbs 28:5
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully.
Isaiah 1:17
Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.
Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

To make a donation, please visit the home page of www.thehomefoundation.net and click on “Make A Difference” on the left hand side of the page. Thank you for making 31 Days Of Freedom such a success. But now we must move beyond just 31 days. We must make justice a lifestyle so that we can bring forever freedom, even if just for one.

Thank you for whatever you are able to give. May it be multiplied for the sake of freedom, in Jesus name.

Love,
Natalie

Isaiah 30:18
The LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice.
