Greece:
The A21 Campaign currently runs a two-week safe house in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. This short term restoration facility can house up to 6 girls. They recently received a young girl who was rescued after being dumped outside the city after having a bomb explode near her feet. They are currently raising funds to build a long-term restoration home. Check out their website, and sign up to receive their direct email updates.

Beginning of Life is a restoration home near Chisinau that opened this year. They are a long-term restoration home for girls that have been rescued from forced prostitution. They have four girls right now, and have the capacity for four more. Our interns spend time teaching English and life skills to the girls in this home. Email us if you would like to receive their monthly updates. Read personal stories of the girls at this home on our Victims Stories page
Grace House is a transitional living home for orphans who have grown too old to be cared for by the government. When orphaned children in Moldova reach the age of 16, they are no longer welcomed in government-funded orphanages. In most cases, they are without any resources to keep themselves from falling prey to the many traffickers waiting to take advantage of them. Grace House is designed to do the more holistic, personally meaningful work of changing the prescribed destinies of helpless children by providing surrogate family, life and vocational mentors, educational accountability, socialization, help with apprenticeships and job placement, English and computer acquisition skills, spiritual/moral development, volunteerism, counseling, food, clothing and shelter. Presently, there are 7 girls living at Grace House. To learn more, visit their website!
India:
Bombay Teen Challenge has many different ministries in both the city of Mumbai and in Badlapur, India. In Mumbai they have a day care/night care facility for children of women who are forced to work in the brothels as well. They have a mobile clinic and feeding programs. In Badlapur, they have ministries for orphans, drug addicts, and then they have a restoration facility for women who have come out of sexual exploitation. Currently they have 52 women living at Ashagram (translated “Village of Hope”). Our internship program to India is located on the grounds of Ashagram. The interns spend time living among the women and assisting the staff there. You can read about our previous interns experiences here!

Freeset Global: Freeset is a fair trade business offering employment and empowerment to women trapped in Kolkata’s sex trade. We partner with them to offer you quality jute bags. Our artist partners are presently selling the Home Foundation abolitionist bag while out on the road. If you are interested in purchasing one of these bags, please contact us at info@thehomefoundation.net
Bangladesh:
Home of Champions/Smyrna Mission School is an orphanage/school that we previously sponsored in Bangladesh. They currently need $30,000 to open their school in January 2010. Please pray about partnering with us to raise the remaining funds. The orphanage currently houses 21 children and the school presently has 61 students. They hope to increase to 100 students in the next year. Bangladesh is a high risk area for trafficking. Orphans and young girls are very vulnerable to being trafficked into India. The Home Foundation is considering a possible opportunity to partner with them to open a restoration home for Bangladeshi girls that have been trafficked to India. Please pray for wisdom as we send staff to meet with our partners in November. You can find the director Alfred on Facebook
